School Visits

Bunbury Wildlife Park offers engaging, hands-on learning experiences designed to inspire curiosity, encourage discovery, and connect students with the natural world.

Perfect for school excursions, the park provides opportunities for students of all ages to learn about wildlife, conservation, farming practices, and biodiversity in a fun, interactive environment.

Educational Wildlife Experiences

Our experienced and passionate Animal Keeper team deliver informative educational talks featuring a variety of native wildlife and farm animals. Students can learn about animal behaviour, habitats, conservation, and the important role wildlife plays within our environment.

Educational sessions can also include guidance on what to do if sick or injured wildlife is found in the community, helping students develop a greater understanding of wildlife care and environmental responsibility.

Interactive Animal Encounters

Bunbury Wildlife Park is home to a range of interactive walk-through enclosures, allowing students to enjoy safe and memorable close-up encounters with animals.

Visit our farmyard to meet friendly alpacas, goats, sheep, free-range chickens, and more. Students can also explore our aviaries and experience birds flying freely around them for an immersive wildlife experience.

Animal food bags are available for purchase to encourage positive interaction between students and the animals.

Facilities & Accessibility

We are committed to making school excursions enjoyable, accessible, and inclusive for all visitors. The park features accessible pathways, seating areas, toilets, drinking fountains, hand wash stations, and dedicated storage areas for student bags and teacher resources.

Explore More Nearby

Located beside the beautiful Big Swamp Wetlands and Big Swamp Accessible Playground, Bunbury Wildlife Park is perfectly positioned to extend your excursion beyond the Park itself.

Take a walk along the wetlands boardwalks to spot native birdlife, frogs, and the occasional Western Long-necked Turtle, before finishing the day with play and exploration at the neighbouring accessible playground.
