Facilities and Accessibility

Main Building Closed

Following routine safety inspections, structural issues were identified in our main building at Bunbury Wildlife Park.

Our team acted quickly to ensure the safety of our animals, staff, and visitors, closing the building and safely relocating all animals within hours.

The great news:

  • All animals are safe, healthy, and thriving in appropriate care
  • The Park is fully operational with all exhibits and experiences available

Our team is currently working with the City of Bunbury, completing detailed assessments to determine the full scope of repairs needed. This proactive approach ensures we’re investing in the long-term future of this treasured community facility.

The Wildlife Park remains open and welcoming visitors. Entry is via Gate 1, and our wonderful team is ready to help you enjoy everything the Park has to offer.

We thank our community and visitors for your continued support and understanding as we complete this important work.

Accessibility

Bunbury Wildlife Park is committed to providing an enjoyable and accessible experience for all visitors.

Our beautiful gardens and pathways can involve a fair amount of walking, so wheelchairs are available to borrow free of charge, subject to availability, to help make your visit more comfortable.

Visitors who hold a valid Companion Card WA are welcome to present their card upon entry to receive a complimentary ticket for their companion.

If you have any questions about accessibility, wheelchair availability, or planning your visit, please feel free to contact our friendly team on 9792 7274.

Wildside Gift Shop

Please note: Our Wildside Gift Shop is currently closed as part of ongoing maintenance works within our main building. During this time, a selection of merchandise and souvenirs is still available for purchase at our park entry point.

Whether you're searching for a special keepsake from your visit, an animal-themed gift, or a unique Australian souvenir to send overseas, we offer a fantastic range of products with something for everyone, including a wonderful selection of Australian-made items.

Looking for a thoughtful gift for someone local? An Annual Pass is a great way to enjoy unlimited visits to Bunbury Wildlife Park for 12 months, while a gift voucher offers the flexibility to choose their own wildlife experience.

We also stock a selection of cards, prints, plush toys, and refreshments, including ice creams, light snacks, and cold drinks.

Car Parking

Free all-day parking is available directly outside the park on Prince Philip Drive.

Toilets

Public toilet facilities are available within Bunbury Wildlife Park for visitors during their visit. Additional public toilets can also be found in the neighbouring park area, located just outside the Wildlife Park grounds.

Pets

For the safety and wellbeing of our animals and visitors, pets are not permitted inside Bunbury Wildlife Park and must not be left unattended in vehicles within the car park. If an animal is found unattended in a vehicle, City of Bunbury Rangers may be contacted.

Registered Assistance Dogs and Guide Dogs are welcome onsite. To help us prepare for your visit and ensure the safety of all animals, we kindly ask that you contact our team prior to arrival.
