Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting the Wildlife Park and are an important part of our team. Whether you are passionate about animals, love being outdoors, or are looking to gain hands-on experience in a unique environment, volunteering at Bunbury Wildlife Park is a rewarding opportunity to connect with wildlife and the local community.
Volunteers assist our Keeper Team with a variety of tasks, including enclosure maintenance, animal enrichment activities, grounds maintenance, and providing friendly customer service to visitors.
To be considered for a volunteer position, applicants must:
- Be at least 15 years of age
- Be available to commit to a minimum three-hour shift at least once per week
- Have a suitable level of fitness to carry out light physical duties
- Provide their own steel-cap boots, long-sleeve shirt, and long pants
- Have good communication skills and be reliable
- Enjoy working as part of a positive and dynamic team environment
