Become part of the Bunbury Wildlife Park family and help make a difference in the lives of our animals and visitors every day.

Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting the Wildlife Park and are an important part of our team. Whether you are passionate about animals, love being outdoors, or are looking to gain hands-on experience in a unique environment, volunteering at Bunbury Wildlife Park is a rewarding opportunity to connect with wildlife and the local community.

Volunteers assist our Keeper Team with a variety of tasks, including enclosure maintenance, animal enrichment activities, grounds maintenance, and providing friendly customer service to visitors.

To be considered for a volunteer position, applicants must:

  • Be at least 15 years of age
  • Be available to commit to a minimum three-hour shift at least once per week
  • Have a suitable level of fitness to carry out light physical duties
  • Provide their own steel-cap boots, long-sleeve shirt, and long pants
  • Have good communication skills and be reliable
  • Enjoy working as part of a positive and dynamic team environment

Volunteering is a fantastic way to learn new skills, meet like-minded people, and contribute to the care and wellbeing of our animals.
