SkyFest 2026 returns to Bunbury’s foreshore on Australia Day, bringing the community together for a day of connection, reflection and shared experiences by the bay. Join us as we welcome new citizens to our community and celebrate all that brings us together.
This year’s program features a range of entertainment zones designed to support connection, participation and shared experiences for all ages.
This event forms part of our Summer Lovin' program and will take place at Koombana Foreshore, Pat Usher Foreshore and Koolambidi Woola in collaboration with local businesses. Featuring live music, food trucks, markets, Strongperson competition, beach activities and, of course, an impressive fireworks display to light the night sky.
The Mayoral annual breakfast will kickstart the day beginning at 6.30am at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell followed by the Citizenship ceremony and Awards at 8am.
The evening festivities start at 4pm as well as an outdoor broadcast by Hit 95.7FM. By 8.30pm, it will be time to look up for the fireworks display.
