Both the Western Australian Parliament and the City of Bunbury recognise the importance of ongoing professional development for elected members, including the Mayor and Councillors.
Local government is a complex sector, with elected members responsible for making significant decisions that influence the City's long-term sustainability, governance, and community outcomes. Ongoing training helps ensure elected members have the knowledge and skills required to effectively fulfil their roles and responsibilities.
