If you encounter sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife, please note that while we care deeply about the wellbeing of all animals at Bunbury Wildlife Park, we are not licensed to provide treatment or rehabilitation for wildlife.
We recommend taking injured wildlife to your nearest veterinary clinic, where native wildlife is treated free of charge.
For advice, assistance, or to arrange wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, please contact one of the following organisations:
- WILDCARE Helpline – 9474 9055
- FAWNA (Friends of Australian Wildlife Needing Aid) – 0438 526 660
The WILDCARE Helpline is operated by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), the government agency responsible for wildlife conservation and management in Western Australia.
The department also provides the free Wildcare Helpline App, available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, offering helpful guidance for assisting native wildlife.
