Bunbury's biggest festival, featuring art, music, circus and dance is turning 10 in 2026.
Running from January 23-31, Fringe is celebrating 10 years with more shows and even more fun. In 2026, there is an epic lineup of international, national and local artists.
To honour the anniversary, Bunbury Fringe is throwing an extra‑special Opening Night Birthday
Party.
Hosted by Fringe icon Famous Sharron, the celebration will feature live music, party games,
giveaways, and a one‑time‑only reunion of the iconic band Marmalade Mama, performing
together for the first time since 2018. This rare performance is expected to be a festival highlight
and possibly the band’s final appearance.
Adding to the festivities, the festival will unveil Bunbury’s first, on‑trend vinyl listening lounge,
curated and led by DJ Charlie Bucket, bringing a nostalgic, soulful soundtrack to the Alcoa Big
Top alongside aerial performances overhead.
The 10th anniversary program is stacked with acclaimed new works, returning favourites, and
standout performances from celebrated Australian and International artists. Festival highlights
include:
Skinny — cabaret powerhouse Michelle Pearson’s newest work
Mayakeniny with Maatakitj — a stirring Noongar‑led cultural experience
ORPHEUS — the latest creation from internationally acclaimed storytellers Wright & Grainger
Smile: The Story of Charlie Chaplin — a dazzling one‑man homage to the silent film legend
You & I by Casus Creations — an intimate, high‑flying celebration of queer love
YUCK Circus: Naughties — a throwback acrobatic riot celebrating all things Y2K
The 'Fringe Hub' is located at Bicentennial Square and will feature a huge range of events.
