Explore City facilities with confidence: new digital accessibility tools now available

The City of Bunbury is proud to announce the launch of the Cérge Digital Accessibility Platform – a first for regional WA! A new suite of digital tools designed to help everyone plan visits to our community facilities with confidence and ease.

For many people living with disability, their families, carers, and support networks, the simple act of visiting a public venue can involve significant planning and uncertainty. We want to change that 💙

What's available?

The platform includes a range of features designed to remove common barriers to access:

  • 360-degree virtual tours explore facilities from the comfort of your home before you visit.
  • Visual stories and sensory guides understand what to expect, including sounds, lighting, and crowds.
  • Structured access information detailed details on parking, entrances, toilets, and wayfinding.
  • Audio guides designed for people who are blind or have low vision.
  • Digital communication supports including keyword sign boards and communication boards.

The platform is now available for the following City of Bunbury facilities:

  • South West Sports Centre
  • Bunbury Regional Art Gallery
  • Bunbury Public Library
  • Withers Community Library
  • Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre
  • City of Bunbury Administration Building
  • Hay Park North Pavilion
  • Bunbury Visitor Centre
  • Koolambidi Woola Youth Precinct

Now live across key City venues, the platform provides detailed, user-friendly information about the physical layout and sensory environment of each facility - all accessible directly from the City's website.

How do I access it?

Simply visit the below link and find the facility you would like to visit. You’ll also find the Cérge accessibility tools embedded directly into each facilities website. No downloads or separate apps required.

The City of Bunbury is committed to building an inclusive community where everyone can participate. This initiative is one more step toward making that a reality 🤝
