Are you drafting a historical fiction novel, writing an academic paper, researching a local history project or thinking about starting your first piece of historical writing?
The South West Historical Writers Group host a regular free meetup at the Museum for local fiction and non-fiction writers who work with history. All experience levels are welcome. Meetups are held every six weeks (excluding school holidays) on a Saturday morning - visit the Museum’s Event page to see upcoming dates.

Established in 2021, the South West Historical Writers Group is a loose network of writers across the South West interested in all things historical writing. In addition to their regular meetups, the group have partnered with the Museum to host several successful Bunbury Fringe Festival events and has participated in the Bunbury Family History Expo.
