The City of Bunbury Council establishes Committees to assist Council in carrying out its roles and responsibilities under the Local Government Act 1995.
Committees provide advice and recommendations to Council on specific matters within their approved Terms of Reference. While Committees may include Councillors and other appointed members, all decisions remain the responsibility of the Council.
Committee members are appointed by formal resolution of Council. Council may amend a Committee’s Terms of Reference, membership, or disband a Committee at any time.
