Footpath Upgrades - Tuart Street (Stockley Road to Cross Street)

As a part of the City of Bunbury’s ongoing work to provide safe and connected communities, we will be upgrading the footpath along the western side of Tuart Street, connecting the network between Stockey Road and Cross Street.

The design drawings can be accessed below.

Alternatively, contact the designer for this project via the contact details below.

Work is expected to start 10 November 2025 and is anticipated to take four weeks to complete.

A number of factors are considered by our team when deciding on the most appropriate path alignments, including the most desirable path of travel, existing services within the potential path alignment, minimising impact on trees and vegetation engineering design standards and topography.

Here’s a few points on what residents can expect during construction:

  • Where the footpath impacts on residential reticulation, the reticulation will be reinstated to pre-construction condition upon completion of the project.
  • Driveways impacted by the construction will be repaired or adjusted during the construction, matching pre-construction materials (like-for-like replacement).
  • To the best of our ability, reasonable access to driveways will be maintained during construction.
  • Traffic management will be in place during the work, as necessary.

The City apologises for any inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding as we work to improve accessibility while maintaining the character of your area. We look forward to completing this upgrade so you can start enjoying it. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Anthony Bertelli on 9792 7333 or at engineeringdesign@bunbury.wa.gov.au
