We’re pleased to welcome a pair of Golden-shouldered Parrots to Bunbury Wildlife Park, where they are now on display for visitors to see. This vibrant species is currently listed as endangered, and their presence at the Park provides an opportunity to raise awareness for species facing significant challenges in the wild.
The team at Bunbury Wildlife Park is honoured to work with animals and birds that require additional care and support. Introducing this pair to our animal collection helps contribute to broader conservation efforts by maintaining healthy populations in human care and supporting important conversations around species recovery. In the future, this may include opportunities to support breeding and conservation initiatives for this remarkable species, as well as others facing similar challenges.
