The South West Sports Centre (SWSC) would like to advise members and patrons that the 50-metre pool will be temporarily closed from 12.00pm on Saturday, 21 February until 5.00pm on Sunday, 22 February to allow for essential pool pump maintenance works.

These works are necessary to ensure the continued safe operation, water quality and long-term reliability of the facility. The 50-metre pool is scheduled to reopen as normal on Monday, 23 February 2026.
During this time, patrons are encouraged to continue enjoying the Centre’s other aquatic facilities, which will remain open and operating as usual. This includes the 25-metre pool, leisure pool, spa, sauna and steam room, all of which will be unaffected by the maintenance works.
SWSC appreciates the community’s understanding while these important improvements are carried out and apologises for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause. Staff will be available on site to assist with alternative options and answer any questions during the closure period.
